My Journey

Change as a constant

I am a real Berliner; I grew up in a non-authoritarian household, in the tranquil, colorful and creative West Berlin. With a brother and loving parents who fought a lot in the years before they separated.

My life’s journey has been colorful and anything but linear. I've always listened to my heart and followed my curiosity while often overthinking at the same time. After what felt like a hundred moves, and a variety of professions, there emerged a common thread: my deep interest in the people I meet, their uniqueness and diversty.

The good old life crisis

At 30, I was completely overworked. Sometimes, after a day's work without a break, I stayed overnight at the animation studio to help move a project forward.

After several more months of crisis, it became clear to me. I wanted a drastic change!  I decided that studying nature conservation was the right next step.

Many other jobs came before and after that, all of which shaped me in their own way and showed me the infinite possibilities of life.

My deepest pain

For many years, I tried to get pregnant. Every month I hoped, and again and again, I was disappointed. I was totally desperate and deeply sad.

It took me a long time to be able to imagine a life worth living without children of my own. Now, a few years later, I have developed new visions for my life which bring me joy, just as my nieces and godchildren do.

Everything is welcome

I contain many contradictions within me and enjoy life with all its highs and lows. I am ready to accept what I like about myself and what I dislike - even if that's not always easy. I willingly go to where my fear is and look at everything very thoroughly, until I can transform it into a new, creative force. Sometimes I remind myself of my childhood role models: Pippi Longstocking and Ronja, the Robber's Daughter.

I am fascinated by how similar yet unique we all are. I love to hear other points of view and am grateful for the trust between me and my clients.

Polished résumé? Think again!

I've had so many different jobs and done so many training courses that I could fill several lives with it all. When my curiosity is piqued, I dive into the subject head first. Even when that means beginning a degree program in my early 30s, or starting two new training programs in my 40s.

Among other things, I was a bartender, model and trade fair hostess. I worked for over ten years in animation and occasionally in the film industry; managed projects, did color styling, wrote cartoon series scripts and helped set up a production studio in Vietnam. I completed two yoga teacher trainings, got my B.Sc. in Landscape Management and Nature Conservation and M.Sc. in Integrated Natural Resource Management. I worked in development cooperation in the area of climate change adaptation, and supervised student projects on sustainability issues at university. And I am a certified Pantarei Practitioner, Radical Honesty Trainer, Getting Real Coach, Systemic Gestalt Coach and NARM Informed Professional.

Throughout all this, what has always accompanied me is my fascination for the people I meet. I am curious to find out what moves you and makes you shine.
